Dircks Moving & Logistics is seeking a Business Development Coordinator who will oversee development of customers relationship and sales. Plans, organizes, develops and controls training to improve over quality and customer satisfaction.

$60K - $80K Salary + Commission

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop new customer relationships and generate new business opportunities.
  • Participate in community networking events to draw in prospects.
  • Initiate and maintain routine contacts (to include visits, phone calls and mailings) to existing clients, in order to ensure smooth working relationships (field-based marketing).
  • Recommends changes in products to existing customers by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Use excellent communication skills to acquire new customers.
  • Determining the requirements for new and current customers and also their expectations so to provide customer solutions.
  • Attending and participating in regular sales and service meetings.
  • Heavy participation in trade and community events.
  • Requires some travel, weekends, and after hours work.
  • Strong public speaking skills. Proven track record with a strong focus on new business development including cold calling, setting appointments, presenting, and meeting with potential customers, pricing, proposals through to 'closing the deal'.
  • 3+ years of sales and account management experience in B2B sales.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills along with strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.
  • High energy and genuine passion for "selling".
  • Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree (BS or BA) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or four to six to years related sales industry experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office word processing software, Excel, and MoversSuite.
